What ApplyOnce Does

ApplyOnce is a Chrome extension that stores your personal profile (name, email, address, work history, education) locally in your browser and uses it to fill job and college application forms with one click.

Data Storage

• All profile data is stored locally in Chrome's chrome.storage.local API.
• Data is encrypted using AES-256-GCM with PBKDF2 key derivation (600,000 iterations).
• Each installation generates a unique salt. Each encryption uses a random IV.
• Your data exists only on your device. Uninstalling the extension deletes everything.

Data Collection: None

• We do not collect any personal information.
• We do not transmit any data to any server.
• We do not use analytics, telemetry, or tracking of any kind.
• We do not use cookies.
• We do not have user accounts or login systems.
• We cannot see your data even if we wanted to.

Permissions Used

• storage — to save your encrypted profile locally.
• activeTab — to read form fields on the current page when you click "Fill."
• scripting — to inject the form-filling script into the active tab.

That's it. Three permissions. No webRequest, no tabs, no history, no background network access.

Third-Party Services

ApplyOnce does not integrate with, send data to, or receive data from any third-party service. The extension operates entirely offline after installation.

Children's Privacy

ApplyOnce does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The extension stores only data that the user explicitly enters into their profile.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this policy, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above. Given that our core principle is "zero data collection," meaningful changes are unlikely.
